This Privacy Policy should be read together with the Three Star Gold Terms & Conditions.
Depending on the services used and applicable verification requirements, we may collect the following categories of information.
We do not intend to store passwords in plain text.
Where applicable, payment-related information may include transaction ID, payment status, payment date, amount paid, payment method, refund information and payment gateway reference information.
Where payments are processed by a third-party payment provider, Three Star Gold may not receive or store complete card, UPI or banking credentials.
We may process personal data for the following purposes:
Personal data will be processed only for lawful purposes and in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Where consent is required, we will obtain consent through an appropriate mechanism. Where processing is permitted or required under applicable law without consent, the relevant legal basis may be relied upon.
The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 establishes requirements concerning lawful processing and notice to individuals regarding personal data and purposes of processing.
Withdrawal of consent may affect our ability to provide certain services where the relevant processing is necessary for those services.
Three Star Gold will seek to collect only personal data that is reasonably necessary for the relevant purpose. We will not intentionally request personal information merely because it may be convenient to collect it. Where Aadhaar information is requested, the business purpose, legal basis and exact information required should be clearly specified before collection.
PAN information may be used for membership verification, duplicate-account detection, enforcing membership limits, fraud prevention, compliance requirements and account administration. PAN information must not be displayed publicly. Access to PAN information should be restricted to authorised personnel and systems that require it for legitimate business purposes.
If Aadhaar information is collected, it will be processed only where there is a valid and lawful purpose for doing so. Three Star Gold will seek to avoid collecting or retaining more Aadhaar information than necessary. Aadhaar numbers must not be publicly displayed or unnecessarily disclosed to other members.
The website may use cookies and similar technologies for maintaining login sessions, security, website functionality, preferences, analytics and improving website performance. Where required by applicable law, appropriate notice or consent mechanisms will be provided.
We may disclose personal data to authorised parties where necessary for legitimate business purposes, including payment gateway/service providers, SMS and OTP providers, email service providers, hosting and cloud service providers, identity verification providers, technology service providers, professional advisers, auditors, legal advisers, regulators, government authorities or law-enforcement authorities where legally required.
Third-party service providers should receive only the information reasonably necessary for the relevant service.
Where the membership system provides Sponsor/Referral information to an applicant, Three Star Gold may display limited information such as Sponsor Name, Sponsor ID and membership/activation status. Sensitive personal information belonging to the Sponsor, including PAN, Aadhaar, passwords, payment details or private contact information, must not be disclosed to another member unless legally authorised and necessary.
We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for providing membership services, maintaining account records, fulfilling contractual obligations, resolving disputes, preventing fraud, complying with legal requirements and maintaining appropriate business records. When personal data is no longer required, it should be securely deleted, anonymised or otherwise disposed of in accordance with applicable law and internal retention policies.
Three Star Gold will implement reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the personal data processed. Security measures may include encryption where appropriate, secure password storage, access controls, authentication mechanisms, OTP verification, logging and monitoring, restricted employee access, backup and recovery controls, vulnerability management and incident response procedures.
No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security. However, Three Star Gold will take reasonable measures to prevent unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, misuse or loss of personal data.
Passwords should be stored using secure one-way cryptographic hashing rather than plain-text storage. Three Star Gold personnel should not request a member's password. Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
If a personal-data breach occurs, Three Star Gold will take appropriate steps to investigate, contain, mitigate and respond to the incident in accordance with applicable law. Where notification to affected individuals or authorities is legally required, such notification will be made through the applicable process.
Subject to applicable law and applicable conditions, individuals may have rights concerning their personal data, including rights relating to access, correction, updating, withdrawal of consent, deletion/erasure where legally applicable, grievance redressal and nomination or other rights provided by applicable law. Requests should be submitted through the contact details provided below.
Where processing is based on consent, a member may request withdrawal of consent. The withdrawal process should be reasonably accessible. Withdrawal does not invalidate processing that was lawfully carried out before withdrawal. Where certain processing is necessary to provide a requested service or comply with law, withdrawal may result in the inability to continue providing that service.
Members should ensure that their personal information remains accurate. If a member identifies inaccurate or outdated information, they may request correction through the available account-management or support mechanism. Three Star Gold may require identity verification before making changes to important identity information.
The Three Star Gold membership service is intended for individuals who are legally eligible to enter into the relevant membership arrangement. Where applicable law imposes additional requirements regarding processing of children's personal data, Three Star Gold will comply with those requirements. We do not knowingly seek unnecessary personal information from children.
